All Means All

All is Well

When you got born again, you became a part of God’s family. You are welcome at His table and become an heir to Christ. What belongs to Jesus belongs also to you. According to the Cambridge dictionary, All means ‘everyone’. The reason why I wanted to make sure we all understand the meaning is because the Bible uses this word multiple times in almost every chapter.

Love God with all your heart

  • Look what Mark 12:30 says – ‘And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
  • In this verse Jesus spoke the Word; he quoted what was in what we know today as the Old Testament. Deuteronomy 6:4-5 says – “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength”.

Note that both verses say the same thing – love God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. So put God first and trust Him. He is a good Father who loves you and wants to look after you.

Put God first, not the ministry or the benefits.

•             But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33)

God knows that we always have daily needs either spiritually or physically and has promised throughout the scriptures to provide for us if only we can trust in Him.

  • Romans 8:32 says – “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”

Walk in love

•             Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins. (Proverbs 10:12)

Revenge-seeking never comes to a good end. It only multiplies anger and escalates a cycle of retaliation. Choosing to respond in love, instead, is far more powerful.

The distinguishing characteristic of a believer should be love.

  • Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;  bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

Replace the word Love with God. God bear all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things. Since we have Christ in us, we are supposed to do the same – to bear all things, be kind to one another without getting angry, believe what the Word of God says, be hopeful in all situations and know that you are an overcomer, you will come out victorious because Jesus is with you. He is holding your hand and is leading the way.

  • Let all that you do be done with love (1 Corinthians 16:14)

Our love should not be centred on what someone can do for us, but how we can bless him or her. Our attitudes should be the same as Jesus, who “did not come to be served, but to serve” (Matthew 20:28).

Jesus knew the backgrounds and limitations of His followers and He had compassion on them when they failed. We are supposed to do the same as His followers. Show the same consideration for others who mistreat us or even live sinfully. Instead of judging them, we should ask ourselves, What happened to them in the past? The way they are today is because of what they did yesterday. Forgive and bless them.

  • Look what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:2 – And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

Faith is essential to see the kingdom of God on earth and your prayers answered and we know that without faith we can’t please God but faith and the prophetic gifts can only work if they are driven by love. God will reveal His mysteries if your heart is pure and you want to use that knowledge to show love to others. So pursue love. Love God and love your neighbour as you love yourself.

The Greek word for love used in this last verse is agapēn which is a variation of the word agape. The word agape describes “the highest form of love “, “the love of God for man and of man for God”.  We are called to love others in the same way.

The Grace of God is Upon You

When the grace of God is on you, the favour follows. You see things moving in the right direction and doors being open.

•             The Lord is righteous in all His ways,

Gracious in all His works.

Psalm 145:17

In other translations, it says that God, Yahweh, is merciful and kind in all His ways. He is our Abba Father, the loving Father who takes care of His children. You are His precious sons and daughters.

•             And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

2 Corinthians 9:8

God is not only able, but He wants to bless you as well; He wants to provide for you, He wants to guide you and He wants you to rely on Him. I believe the Word of God reveals God’s Will and I know that His Word says that “my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).

The New Living Translation says it like this: this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs and the Amplified Bible says “my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need”.

This bible verse is a promise. Our heavenly Father is Jehovah Jireh, my Provider and your provider. So live knowing that He will provide for you and do not worry. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7)

Jesus said in Matthew 11:28

•             Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

  • You don’t need to worry or be anxious about anything but all you need to do is to “cast all your care on Him because He cares” (1 Peter 5:7).
  • For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. (Psalm 86:5)
  • In 3 John 1:2 it says: Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
  • The author said this because God wants you healthy, at peace, and to prosper in such a way that you can be a blessing to other people.

All you need to do is to call upon Him. God, help me, I don’t know what to do is probably one of the best prayers because you finally recognise you need Him to help you and guide your steps. Do what He says and you will be blessed.

Know that

•             we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37)

And tell yourself often:

•             I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13)

Read and speak the Word. Tell the enemy what it is written. That is the Truth.

Perfect Will of God

•             Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall direct your paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6

•             Ponder the path of your feet,

And let all your ways be established.

Proverbs 4:26

Be led by God every day. I pray that you become more aware of His whisper, and you will know what He wants you to do or say. He cares about small things and big things.

•             As for God, His way is perfect;

The word of the Lord is proven;

He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

Psalm 18:30

Now you know what to do – Trust God.

To make sure you pray in line with His Will, base your prayers on the Bible. Study the verses that relate to your situation until you see what the Holy Spirit wants you to see. Faith comes by hearing and hearing on the Word of God so there is no harm in reading something multiple times or hearing the same topic or verse being preached often.

•             Be of good courage,

And He shall strengthen your heart,

All you who hope in the Lord.

Psalm 31:24

•             Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 3:20-21

Psalm 34:4 says

•             I sought the Lord, and He heard me,

And delivered me from all my fears.

Join me in prayer:

Heavenly Father,

I refuse to be held captive by fear or doubt. I cast all my cares, anxieties, and worries upon You, knowing that You care for me and have already triumphed over every challenge.

In Your divine presence, I experience overwhelming peace and rest. You are my unshakable refuge and fortress, my Rock, and my strong tower. Your unwavering love surrounds me, and I am protected by your angels. No weapon formed against me shall prosper!

Grant me divine wisdom and revelation, that I may discern Your perfect will in every situation. Help me to walk in the paths of righteousness, shining Your light in a dark world. Empower me to be a vessel of Your love, grace, and mercy.

Lord, I thank You for hearing my cries, and for listening to the deepest desires of my heart. Today, I stand firmly upon the foundation of Your promises. I trust in Your unwavering faithfulness, knowing that You will bring to pass every good thing You have spoken over my life.

Thank You for Your faithfulness. I surrender my fears, doubts, and worries to You, for You are the author and finisher of my faith. In You, I find my strength and my victory!

In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray and declare these things knowing that they shall come to pass according to Your perfect will.

Psalms and Proverbs provide many lessons for life.

•             Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life – Proverbs 4:23

Jesus said “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Luke 6:45) so make sure you keep your heart pure. Don’t have any bitterness or unforgiveness come into your hear.

Pay also attention to what comes out of your mouth because “Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21).

Praise God All the Time

Do what David did:

•             Let my mouth be filled with Your praise And with Your glory all the day (Psalm 71:8).

•             I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. (Psalm 34:1)

Praise Him for who He is and thank Him for what He did in your life and what He does all the time.

Acknowledge, that …

•             Both riches and honour come from You,

And You reign over all.

In Your hand is power and might;

In Your hand it is to make great

And to give strength to all.

1 Chronicles 29:12

•             For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. (2 Corinthians 5:14-15)

•             For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (Galatians 3:26-27)

•             But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. (John 14:26)

God wants you well. His Will is revealed in Jesus who healed all who came to Him.

•             Luke 4:40-41 – When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them. And demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of God!”

•             And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

•             Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. (2 Timothy 3:12)

•             Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. (1 Thessalonians 5:21-22)

•             Marriage is honourable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. (Hebrews 13:4)

•             If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
